Audio/Video Quality: Slutty & Sluttier 12 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Manuel Ferrara for Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Manuel focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Manuel's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing was decent, if a little rushed, and the minor quirks on the technical side did not deter me from enjoying the scenes most of the time. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 3.9 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see. The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere. Oh yeah, the vocals seemed much better than other efforts by the director for those that care.

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara started teaming up with Evil Angel long ago, using his skills as a performer to parlay his success to the next level as a director (he had already been established as such but not nearly as popular).
