Extras: Once again, the discs had their own unique extras, the first one with a lengthy 55:09 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by the talented Tony Flush; the man interviewing the ladies as they got ready for their scenes but also catching them in various states of undress. There were four trailers, a popshot recap, a photogallery, websites, and a cast list too. The second disc had similar extras, including another long BTS lasting 22:18 minutes (Victoria one of the recent victims of that website providing a ton of performer phone numbers and personal information), all the other extras, as well as four more trailers.

Audio/Video Quality: Young & Glamorous 2 was presented in an appealingly clear 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Chris Streams for Jules Jordan Video as presented in the MPEG-2 format so common to standard definition titles (with 480 resolution). The lighting was consistently solid, generally limiting the grain and other visual flaws in the open settings of the house, no scenes going far outside the box in terms of centering on dark rooms this time. There were no compression artifacts (the bitrate hovering in the 4.1 Mbps range most of the time I paid any attention to it) but the fleshtones were not always what I expected them to be, making this one visually decent for me and while not the best I've seen from Chris in the past. I think much of this was due to the effort to provide a stylized look in the scenes, the "glamorous" part of the series translating into filters, gels, and other techniques used to soften some of the edges in a manner that some fans like more than others. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio (in 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) was a bit more basic with no separation or major dynamic range but I could always hear what was said and the music didn't interfere with my viewing pleasure. The music dominated during the tease sequences and fans may find this a marked change for the director from most of his works to date.

Body of Review: Chris Streams has been around the proverbial block in porn for a very long time, his work evolving to the point where he made it to the big leagues with a deal at Jules Jordan Video some time ago. Chris adds a lot as a director, more than he will ever admit to, by getting some of the best performances out of newcomers and seasoned performers alike, his technical expertise comparable to anything peers like Mike Quasar or Robby D. have offered up at this writing. His latest double disc movie is called Young & Glamorous 2: Special Edition, the series again offering relatively new women in a stylized fashion for them to showcase their all natural appeal. That alone should work for most folks, the movie lasting nearly four hours and providing almost an hour and a half of BTS footage as the primary extra. While my personal take on the glamour style of shooting is that a little goes a long way, a quick peek at the front cover shows why anyone into newcomers should skip the review and go get a copy right away. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

The levels of chemistry varied a bunch as did the relative strengths of the performances but this is to be expected from such a movie, the sum total of the replay value, strokability, and technical matters earning a rating of Highly Recommended. In short, Young & Glamorous 2: Special Edition will be just what fans of newcomers asked for, a ton of fuck for the buck, a glamorous look at the women, and some great extras in the lengthy BTS features. I'm not usually a big fan of newcomers so adjust your ratings accordingly but I have to hand it to Chris that he outdid himself from the previous volume of the series.
