Extras: The extras started off with a 14:02 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, Alexis Texas looking as booty-licious as ever. There was a photogallery, some trailers, spam, and an internet trailer, as well as a 25:40 minute long selection of bonus material, initially a solo tease scene by Teagan Presley lasting 5:30 minutes, then a scene from Roller Dollz starring Teagan Presley and Erik Everhard, and a clip called the Deviance Dance.

Audio/Video Quality: D2: Deviance was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Joshua for Adam & Eve. Using capable technical staffers like Francois Clousot on camera, Joshua had the flick shot in 1080 resolution even if this standard definition version was down converted to 480, the video bitrate hovering around the 3.1 Mbps mark when spot checked. The composition of the shots was decent and the colors looked accurate, the ladies all enhanced by the modest attempts at a straightforward look at their bodies in action. The lighting was better in a few scenes than the rest but it was never terribly weak, the modest efforts at editing coming across as well handled though certainly not the best I've seen of late. I was pleased that some effort was also made at mixing up the shots between close ups, medium and long looks at the action, a marked difference from the work produced at Teagan's old contract company. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps audio bitrate, the minimal separation between the channels and limited music blended into the vocals well enough to insure they were easily heard. While not completely devoid of aural enhancement, the audio did serve the scenes well in most ways, the dynamic range fair for a porno.

Body of Review: Joshua has worn many hats while promoting his main squeeze, Teagan Presley, in the past few years, her recent contract with Adam & Eve including rights to distribute the couple's works from their production company Skinworxxx. While I have found their titles to be well worth a look, D2: Deviance was marketed in such a way that I was initially drawn to it. First off, as a long time fan of Teagan Presley, I figured that she would provide her absolute best performances for her own label, even if they have been tragically limited to lesbian-only trysts. Second, while I hear Joshua comes from a technical background, he has been wise enough to get the most technically capable people available to him, past works using folks like B. Skow and Francois Clousot to assist him in getting the kind of vision he sought on video. In that sense, D2 was best evaluated on the thematic merits, the cast including such notable hotties as Teagan Presley, Shyla Stylez, Jenna Haze, and Alexis Texas. For me, that equated to a nearly impossible movie to fuck up, Kristina Rose, Adrenalynn, and Nikki Benz rounding out the female cast. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Shyla Stylez, a curvy blond babe, was up first as she drove around the bad part of town in her luxury car with her ample tits hanging out. Scene Three: Jenna Haze, the attractive young lady seen on the far right of the front cover, and blond bombshell Alexis Texas (seen as second from the left), were up next in a religious scenario with Mr. Pete. Alexis and Pete have long had wonderful chemistry together, Jenna showing no less enthusiasm for joining them here. Scene Five: Teagan Presley, Nikki Benz, Jenna Haze, and Adrenalynn, were up last in a lesbian zombie scene, just in time for Halloween. Teagan was first to awaken but all of them had some seriously nasty scars, the implication that they were vampires or zombies in heat amusing given the way the camera continually panned them as they tore at their own clothing. The initial masturbation sequences by the ladies led to them pairing up for some eating out and titty play, a bunch of handily provided sex toys complimenting their fingers for some penetrative work. There was some anal and vaginal work here but a county morgue is as cock blocking to me as a church (see scene three) so all their efforts were weakened significantly. Once again, the ladies were loud to the point of being obnoxious, coming across as trying to out-yell each other, the hand wielded toys giving way to some strap on dildos.

Bonus Scene: Roller Dollz: Teagan Presley, the skinny hotty seen on the lower right hand corner of the cover, was up next as she prepared for practice on the locker bench. Erik Everhard was insistent on getting some from her, the pair agreeing to a quickie since she was already late. Erik ate her on the bench and she laughed with pleasure the entire time, her satin coat covering her breasts initially but her skates remaining on as with many of the other ladies in the movie. She did not reciprocate initially, relying on Erik to tear into her pussy from multiple angles instead, Teagan pushing back in a few of them so as to not be labeled as a passive rider. There were red marks on her ass from the action and she claimed he was turning her on, her minimal blowjob resulting in her bra tossed off and the gal finally getting into the action, even if slightly mechanically. Teagan got nearly as sweaty as Erik did and eventually warmed up to giving her best though, making this another scene in a big name movie for fans to enjoy during her hiatus from doing men on camera. Summary: D2: Deviance by director Joshua for Adam & Eve would have been better if the ladies had fewer restrictions (and if Teagan was in more scenes) but also if the advertised "Where Your Darkest Fantasies Become Reality" was lived up to. Still, for a novice director, Joshua seemed to bring together most of the elements in such a way that his potential for bigger and better things shone through, the sum total of the flick meriting a rating of a respectable Recommended. In short, while D2: Deviance may not have broken any new ground, the degree of fuck for the buck strokability and replay value were sufficient to score points on many levels, the title a "must have" for any fans of Teagan Presley. While not exactly a case of sophomore slump, there were just too many slightly unpolished aspects holding this one back, piled on by the entire cast having done better elsewhere in their respective careers. Still, give it a look and you may see what I see regarding the potential of the director, the man already surpassing a number of his peers in terms of providing an interesting look at a well seasoned cast of cuties.
