Body of Review: Totally Interactive Control of Tabitha Stevens is presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.78:1 ratio color using the MPEG-2 codec for what is called a "true" high definition release. The bitrate was usually in the 7.0 Mbps range but ranged from about 5.0 Mbps to as high as about 8.0 Mbps. The basic lighting varied from scene to scene as would be expected from a POV video with as many choices as is offered here, but overall was exceptionally well done, with the action very well captured. The color saturation was outstanding, and the video was crystal clear. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital using a 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate which generally served well to catch the sounds of the sexual action.

Summary: I am extremely impressed by this release and eagerly give it a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating. Despite the fact I don't have a lot of experience with interactive DVD's, it is obvious that a LOT of thought and care went into the making of it. Insofar as navigation goes, you have a main menu, section menu or quick navigation menu that allows you to choose from a list of all of the sections on the DVD. This menu allows you to choose which section you want to jump to. Lighting varies from scene to scene but is intentional depending upon the mood they're trying to generate. As stated above, the color saturation is exceptionally well done, lending the movie an outstanding deep, rich "look". You have plenty of choices when it comes to what kind of sex you get to see, although I am a bit surprised that there wasn't an internal pop shot option.

The second bonus disc could well serve as a standalone release. It contains 5 scenes from various 3rd Degree releases. It would have been nice if those releases had been named, as I had to research them to figure it out. That doesn't change the fact that each scene is exceptionally strong on its own merit. No scene on the second disc could be considered weak, but of exceptional value is the scenes with Brittany O'Connell with Chris Johnson, and then Tabitha with Mr. Pete. Both could qualify as couples friendly, but that doesn't take away from the sexual heat generated by each.
