Extras: As is currently the case, the best “extra” is actually the second version of the movie in either DVD or Blu-ray depending on how you look at it. This might encourage slow adopters to pick up a high definition player or allow for the rest of us to lend a copy out in standard definition, a nice touch even if the upgraded package does add to the cost (which varies considerably depending on who you buy from). Otherwise, the standard package of extras here included the photogallery and trailers only with no BTS.

Audio/Video Quality: Bad Girls 7 was presented in 1.78:1 widescreen, the DVD in anamorphic though the high definition Blu-ray looking substantially superior. Director Robbie D. has been the main driving force in the technical areas at Digital Playgroundfor years now, his mission to showcase the plethora of contract performers often succeeding. The company currently uses very high end equipment with extremely good resolution but then apply a variety of tricks to soften the look of the resulting footage, the results a mixed bag. This time though, the credited production date was almost two and a half years ago and the worst problem I could see was some yellow tint in one scene where the lighting was off and the sheer amount of close up footage throughout the show. It was edited by Nick P., the talented individual among the best the porn world has to offer, and the overall look in both versions was better than some of their most recently shot titles, regardless of bitrates. The audio was another matter, the scenes lacking much in the way of vocals and the music kind of generic. There was little to comment about in this regard, the grunts and groans dominated by the musical track at scene openings and otherwise fading away.

Body of Review: Robbie D. has been in the wonderful world of porn for a very long time, his initial work at Vivid later trumped by what he has done for Digital Playground. While he caters to a select market these days, I think he routinely makes some of the best couples’ porn on the market today, the latest release coming to me for review called Bad Girls 7. As with previous volumes of the series, there was no connection between the scenes, the likelihood that they were shot over a period of time pretty high. Of noteworthy status was the inclusion of a scene by ever popular contract star Jesse Jane and sexy brunette Stoya, the rest of the curvy cast (Jayden Jaymes, Alanah Rae, Lexi Belle, and Franziska Facella) also worth a look. Also worth noting was the fact that the show lasted over 2.5 hours, greatly increasing the “fuck for buck” quotient over the plethora of 90 minute minimalist efforts with much lower profiles. The back cover described the show like this: “Beautiful and nasty Jesse Jane sucks and swallows hard members with sexy, insatiable, bad girl Stoya. In short, Bad Girls 7 might not have been one of the company’s showcase efforts but it was fun enough to pick up for some hand to gland action of your own, especially completists fans of Jesse Jane and Stoya.
