Extras: In terms of extras, the 8:25 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was the best for me. Shot by Jamal Jhonson and edited by Willem Default, it showed off the cast during photoshoots, giving interviews, and mugging for the camera but also providing all the usual comedy). The inclusion of a standard DVD will appease those who have yet to get a Blu-ray player but frankly, given the quality of upgrade and the current price of such devices, I doubt many reading this will be without one. There was a photogallery, some trailers, but no slip cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Love, Jesse was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking good though the high definition version was a nice upgrade in regard to the visuals. The lower budget feature was cute but no one was credited with editing (perhaps because it was not the best effort by the company in recent years), the lighting generally flat but uninspired, and the composition of the camera angles heavy on tight close up shots all too often for my tastes. The 5.1 Surround audio was clear in each case, the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals, music, and ambient noises were all put together well enough, Joey Pulgadas credited with all aural aspects of the movie.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the talented director at Digital Playground who has almost singlehandedly transformed the company from a marginal player to one of the most recognized in the industry. His latest movie sent for review is called Love, Jesse, a showcase title for Jesse Jane and Riley Steele where Jesse plays a sex therapist of sorts who helps her varied clientele by catering to their needs. As is usually the case, Jesse Jane had two scenes and Riley Steele had only one, the other two scenes fleshed out by Alexis Texas and Angell Summers for those who care. The back cover described the movie like this: “Jesse Jane is a sexpert who specializes in fantasies of the flesh. Let her be your guide though the secret desires people have hidden. Riley Steele dreams of being held down and power fucked by Tommy Gunn while Manuel Ferrara longs for French maid Angell Summers to clean his pipes. Alexis Texas needs dirty talk to cum when she is with her man, Rocco Reed. No perversion is left unexplored in this series of incredible encounters. Even Jesse reveals what gets her off and shows you in Love Jesse.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Jesse Jane, the buxom blond featured on the right side of the front cover, was up first with Erik Everhard, the helpful lad massaging the weary Jesse on a table in the living room. He applied some oil and rubbed her the right way, concentrating his hands on all the right places to ease her tensions. That led to her spreading her legs for him to gobble her gash, Jesse moaning in delight as he warmed up her nicely. Jesse then aggressively slobbed his knob like a seasoned professional, their mutual desire to fuck soon culminating in a variety of positions where the two actively bumped uglies. I especially liked seeing her bent over but she was always strongest in the cowgirl variations, some taste testing by both and sweaty boning leading to his wealth of genetic juice launched onto her perky little ass.

Scene Two: Alexis Texas, a booty babe with a need for some aural inspiration to get excited, was up next on the couch as Jesse Jane warmed her up with a slew of dirty talk and boob massaging while Rocco Reed watched them dumbfounded. Alexis was already glistening with a light sheen of sweat from the moment when Jesse slid off into the background while she and Rocco kissed. Her hands unfastened his zipper and pulled out his pecker to suck, the slow hummer speeding up as she worked him to the bone. With her fabulous ass in the air and thong riding deep inside her crack, Rocco pawed her a little before reciprocating the oral, Alexis enjoying the dirty talk she provided as he prepared her for some vaginal plowing. Scene Three: Angell Summers, a brunette with a pleasing ass, was up next wearing a French maid outfit as she cleaned the living room where Jesse was helping Manuel Ferrara. Jesse left and Angell went out of her way to bend over and otherwise show her goodies to Manuel, leading him to the bed where both kissed as they became better acquainted. Scene Four: Riley Steele, the tasty little blond seen on the left side of the front cover, was up next as her boss learned her secret sexual desires by reading her journal. This led to a masked Tommy Gunn jumping her to fulfill her rape fantasy, her animal print dress pulled up to grant him greater access to her perky little ass as Jesse explained what was going on. As Riley was getting turned on, Jesse making it clear that for things to continue the gal would have to acknowledge the fact, Tommy kept roughing her up and choking her, some diddling and kissing slowly calming things down as the scene evolved into a more normal tryst. They went down on each other and fucked vaginally, Riley espousing a stream of dirty talk as things continued in such a way that it really seemed like they were into each other as well as the situation on the bed. Riley looked good here and carried it off better than expected, the camera work capturing it less so. The scene ended when they fucked as much as they could, Tommy pulling out to feed Riley his modest nut of splooge, Riley cleaning him off thoroughly as she gazed up at him in admiration.

Scene Five: Jesse Jane, up last in bed after feeling pleased with herself for finally getting Riley what she wanted, was in her lingerie when Manuel Ferrara stopped by with some flowers. Apparently, Jesse was not the only one able to play matchmaker, Manuel interested in Jesse even more than the maid so he handed her the flowers and kissed her, Jesse kissing back. She then pulled him on top of her where the kiss became more intimate, some lingering taking place before she worked her way down to giving him a long, low kiss in the form of a hand assisted blowjob. Jesse worked him hard and he grew increasingly excited, her smile evoking a warm feeling in the man as his desires were reciprocated. They did some 69 from there, though the single camera did not capture it very well, and were soon vaginally fucking like crazy. She aggressively rode him in some cowgirl variations and blew him some more, the spooning showing them more intimately though only briefly. Summary: Love, Jesse by director Robby D. for Digital Playground was a light feature production showcasing attractive contract stars Jesse Jane and Riley Steele good enough to earn a rating of Rent It or better. The feature elements could have been tied in tighter to the sexual aspects and allowed Jesse to strut her stuff better, the short nature of the trysts lowering the replay value for me at least as much as the abundance of close up shots that I tend to find bothersome. In short, Love, Jesse starred Jesse Jane & Riley Steele in roles closer to home that may just appeal to some of, the fans certain to want in on this one despite whatever minor criticisms I had of it as a whole.
