The Movie:

The eighth and latest entry in Girlfriends Films’ Pin-Up Girls series once again offers up four scenes involving some of the best ‘girl on girl’ performers that the industry has to offer. With their focus on mood and passion rather than gynecological close up shots or penetrated orifices, the producers of this disc have one again managed to craft a well made all sex feature (well almost all sex, there are a few dramatic scenes that bridge the content but they’re so brief that they almost don’t count). They’ve also gone for a very sexy sort of retro/vintage aesthetic here, which is something that tends to float this particular reviewer’s boat. So without further ado…

Scene One - Taylor Vixen And Zoe Britton: When this first scene starts off, our two foxy brunettes are all dolled up in their finest vintage lingerie and having a little fun in the bedroom with an impromptu photo shoot. They put down the camera and start kissing, Taylor rubbing herself while Zoe moves in on her. The production values are great, the cast members all truly natural beauties completely into their work and ultimately, this is just super hot stuff: sexy, passionate and fun.

Pin-Up Girls Volume 8 is a shot on digital video production which looks pretty clean presented here in a very strong and stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild shimmer in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident anywhere. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (the camera work is very good here), and overall the movie looks great showing very nice detail and color.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit during the sex scenes during the foreplay – there’s too much kissing for there to be talk! -comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The background music is fine, levels are nicely balanced, everything sounds clean and clear and all in all the disc sounds very good.

Extras:

Extras are slim, but there are a few bits and pieces here, the first of which is Our Girlfriends, really nothing more than a minute long credits listing for the feature. Outside of that? Promos, Trailers and Website Info ‘extras’ are pretty much self explanatory (hint – they’re ads).

Final Thoughts:

Pin-Up Girls 8 isn’t going to appeal to everyone but if you enjoy lesbian action and girl on girl couplings, and have a taste for curves and sexy outfits, then it’s pretty hard to resist. The sex here is hot, it’s well performed and nicely shot and the outfits go a long way towards giving it a classy, retro look, one which suits the different ladies cast here rather well. Great stuff all around, really. The extras, as is the norm for Girlfriends Films releases, are nothing of note but the presentation is good and the disc comes highly recommended.
