Audio/Video Quality: Diary Of A Perv was shot in anamorphic widescreen by director Keiran Lee for Digital Playground. Francois Clousot was the credited cameraman here and Nick P. handled the editing, the camera framing and movement was very well done and the editing as smooth as could be while still maintaining the illusion of POV sex in the scenes. There was no continuous company watermark on the screen and while the lighting was generally low enough to cause some issues with color saturation, I could see everything fairly well throughout the scenes. The aural components were presented in Dolby Digital Surround 5.1 but only as encoded in post production, I had no doubts the audio was captured using the 2.0 stereo microphone attached to the camera itself here (like other companies that claim surround but don’t truly deliver). There were some ambient noises and limited music at times but this was your basic audio experience, the visuals typically emulating the popular Manuel Ferrara series “Raw” and another title with no high definition version included in the package.

Body of Review: Keiran Lee has become a popular meat puppet for some time now, most of his direction in movies tied to specific scenes where he received no credit. Now that he works at Digital Playground on both sides of the camera, his work as director on Hot Chicks Big Fangs augmented by a second title called Diary Of A Perv. The flick is a selection of six POV scenes lasting almost three hours, Keiran shown as the alpha male in four of the scenes with ladies such as Jesse Jane, Maddy O’Reilly, Veruca James, and others, Erik Everhard adding some humor to bone Selena Rose, and Xander Corvus doing likewise with Lexi Brooks. The entire show, or at least virtually all of it, was handled in POV by Francois Clousot, the talented man having come to greatest fame while working for Wicked Pictures. The back cover described the movie like this: “Sex driven adult legend, Keiran Lee offers a glimpse from his daily life through four POV scenes. From banging his wife, Kirsten Price and Digital Playground Star, Jesse Jane in a scorching hot threesome, to experiencing casual sexual encounters with Chanel Preston in a hotel room and Maddy O’Reilly the house maid, to later screwing his best friend’s sister, Veruca James – Keiran is sure to make every man envious. Two additional POV scenes from the perspective of Xander Corvus and Erik Everhard include Digital Playground Star, Selena Rose and Giselle Leon.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

As I have pointed out repeatedly over the years, the blu-ray disc was rarely that much better looking and sounding to justify the added costs, my appreciation for the upgraded quantity of sexual enjoyment earning this one a respectable Recommended or better thanks to the work of ladies such as Jesse Jane, Chanel Preston, Maddy O’Reilly, and others included in the endeavor. In short, Diary Of A Perv was not really what I expected it to be going into the show but it had much of the same playfulness attributed to former lead director for the company Robby D., his highly skilled post production expert Nick P. polishing this one up enough to make it shine as a stand alone outing so give it a chance.
