Audio/Video Quality: Video is good, as usual with this crew. There are a few overly lit skin captures but nothing too bad. The audio is a whole different story. Overview: Pure Taboo is back with two more twisted tales. These are about step-daughters or exchange students that become "daughters". That's nothing new in the modern world of porn but the storylines involved are more complex than your average step-porn and there's a warning at the front of the disc for a reason. Those of you that think porn is all about beautiful girls, fluffy pillows, and butterflies fliting around meadows obviously haven't yet experienced anything from Pure Taboo. Welcome to great filmmaking but often seriously fucked up porn concepts. It's almost always worth a look but it won't be everyone's cup of tea. That's part of why I continue to review these honestly and with a critical eye and ear. Sometimes they are very good, sometimes great, other times not. Read my synopses below and you be the judge.

Scene 1. Elena Koshka, Steve Holmes, Chad Alva "The Daughter Deal"

Elena's been suspended from school and has to spend the day in her dad's office while he works out details on an important deal. I do have to point out that this scene is plagued with audio issues. From having to constantly be riding the volume knob to some parts seriously distorting, it can be annoying.

Scene 2. Syren De Mer, Alex Blake, Dick Chibbles, Maya Kendrick (Non-Sex) "Swapping Daughters"

Maya is leaving for Canada as part of an exchange student program. Her parents are sad to see her leave but are anxiously awaiting the "new daughter". Alex is stoked to see her new house and meet her new parents. The morning after she arrives, the parents are enjoying some new coffee while Alex wonders why she hasn't heard from her parents yet. Now, it could be argued that the other episode also bordered on this but that plot was ultimately decided on by the actions of Elena's character, not by some exchange parents in a different country. Also, again, this episode was plagued (albeit not quite as badly) with audio issues.

Final Thoughts: Fuck. Pure Taboo titles are polarizing by design. I like the first scene here but that second one put me off pretty quickly, as other Pure Taboo scenes have. I'll say it again: this studio is making quality films but I'm not sure that the porn-viewing masses are using it as stroke material. I know it's not just Bree Mills that is coming up with these storylines, many are suggested by website members and/or the stars themselves. I'm glad she's giving them a platform and making their ideas a reality but it's about a 50/50 shot on whether I find it erotic or arousing. Like with other titles I have reviewed from this studio, I'm going to suggest you watch this On Demand. They are ultimately developing these scenes for their web members and not for mass consumption. I'll keep watching and reviewing them and hopefully, they keep listening to me, and other people's honest feedback to fine tune their products just a bit.
