Audio/Video Quality: Excellent on both fronts. There are moments where the dungeon makes voices a bit hard to make out but for the most part it's clear and very well filmed.

Overview: Device Bondage is a series in which John Paul "The Pope" (JP) takes starlets to their limits with physical restraints that are made of steel and/or wood rather than something forgiving like rope and then tortures them as he sees fit (within the confines of their stated limits). Each scene starts with an interview where they go over the limits and safety rules and we get to know their smiling faces and then proceeds to three different scenarios that have the girls in compromising positions, followed by an exit interview where they discuss what they just went through. There is no human/human penetration, just devices.

Disclaimer: While the bondage props employed are often built of standard materials you could buy at any hardware store for next to nothing there's a caveat to employing them. You'd need a dedicated space in which you could bolt them to a suitable surface securely and some of the scenarios you will witness on this disc should definitely not be tried alone with your partner for safety's sake. This is serious BDSM, not some 50 shades of whatever. As usual with this studio, I will mention - these are trained professionals on a closed course operating under strict safety guidelines. Scene 1. Chloe Cherry

Ahh...Chloe Cherry. Loved by critics and fans alike. She's racked up 300 credits at IAFD, including over 15 for Kink.com but now she's ready to test her limits in Device Bondage. She seems perfectly fine during her interview with JP, smiling and laughing a bit as they go over the rules. She has a very short "no-list" of what can't be done to her today but perhaps she's never seen this series and is in for a surprise? She's into flogs and riding crops, tools that JP is a master craftsman with, so she may get more than she bargained for once she's strapped into his pipe contraptions unable to escape his tormentous ways.

Her first position finds her bent backward, bent at the knees and leaning against a bar at a 45-degree angle, her hands tied behind her as John works her over with the flog, the crop and a Hitachi until she begs to cum and he finally allows her to. Her second device has her strapped to a table, immobilized with her feet strapped in, her shins on the table along with her forearms. She's squealing and whimpering until a giant dildo on a stick is shoved down her throat in preparation for it to be rammed into her and joined by a Hitachi on her clit that has her screaming. A couple of orgasms later, she is left breathless and spent but it's not over yet. Finally, she's strapped down on her back, her legs in the air, spread-eagle. Then JP breaks out a very simple but surprisingly effective prop. Rubber bands wrapped around her feet, ready to be snapped at his will. Just when you think that's going to be what he focuses on, you're proven wrong as a Wartenberg wheel joins the party. When he trades that tool in for his fingers and a Hitachi, she tries to pull away but she only has a few inches of leeway available to her. Her eyes glaze over, her ball-gagged shrieks grow louder, her body quakes and twists as she's left lying alone in the dungeon.

Scene 2. Dani Daniels

The lovely Miss Daniels is back in the Kink dungeon, ready for JP to make her cry. She's a familiar face down there and I think this is about the third or fourth time I've sat down to review a Kink.com title where she's smilingly awaiting some crazy punishment from JP or one of the other directors. I know she's not the only starlet that seems to seek out some dungeon time when they have a few days before their next shoot and are able to let the guys loose with an okay to go ahead and push their limits but she's definitely one of my favorites to watch. Even without starting the scene yet, I know she's going to go from the pretty, fresh-faced girl-next-door in a sundress to a makeup smeared mess in very short order. Let's see what the pair come up with this time.

Standing, arms bound skyward and feet shackled to the floor, she waits patiently with a ball gag in her mouth. JP wastes no time getting busy with his flog as she giggles seductively. The pair exhibit an obvious familiarity with one another as he banters and she responds with the limitations of her mouth muffle. He flogs her rhythmically, Dani only wincing when he pauses for dramatic effect. He catches on to that and places some vision-limiting goggles on her so she can't anticipate his motions and he changes up his approach, bringing her to multiple orgasms with the Hitachi. Her second scenario finds her immobilized on all fours with her neck in a restraint. You can see the anticipation on her makeup smeared face as she waits to see what he'll come up with. It's all riding crop here, on her ass and feet soles, followed by multiple orgasms driven by the Hitachi. Dani's final position is similar to Chloe's, with the addition of a Hitachi bolted between her legs. I actually laughed as JP fucked with her mentally and put four rubber bands around her feet and pulled them back, giving her an option on how many he should release and which ones first and she raised her head and whined: "I don't know". I know that sounds weird and perhaps cruel but like I mentioned above - I've seen this young lady a lot of times in these dungeon rooms and she always comes in and asks them to push her limits and they oblige much to her chagrin. That chagrin will ultimately become a release for her and she knows that which is why she keeps returning to the team at Kink again and again. She thinks she's out of the woods and headed for orgasm when JP turns on the vibe between her thighs but he pauses and shows her the Wartenberg wheel and they have a conversation about it, which is amusing as he runs it on the soles of her feet, her screams filling the air. That only lasts a moment as he trades that tool for a knitting needle, teasing her as he prods her soles, the rubber bands stretching as he does. The vibe gets turned up to high as the foot torture continues and Dani gets herself off as his foot probing gets more intense.

Scene 3. Cadence Lux

Our next lovely lady is Cadence Lux, who is no stranger to the Kink.com dungeon or the armory in general, having shot a number of scenes for the company on some of their many varied sets. Like other frequent Kink starlets, she expresses that she looks at these sessions as a form of therapy (that she just happens to get paid for).

Cadence finds herself standing hooded with a burlap sack over her head, her arms bound to the top of a t-bar device as JP moves stealthily behind her, flog in hand, striking at will. Her moans and shrieks get louder and more frequent as JP forgoes the flog for some tight gripping of her breasts and pubic region, even employing his knee for some leverage to yank her boobs farther. JP's mastery of flogging techniques never ceases to amaze me, going from a light circular brushing motion to hardcore strikes in the blink of an eye. That has to be a very intense experience if you are on the receiving end and unable to see what's coming at you, especially when he adds a second one to the mix. As Cadence's body stands shaking with anticipation, he trades his flogs for a whip and the Hitachi, her body convulsing as she orgasms only for JP to turn it up higher and remove her hood so that he and the viewers can verify that she is okay but obviously in an intense subspace, her face and hair a disheveled mess. Position two has her bound on all fours, her face hovering over a large, clear bowl which of course JP is busy filling with water. He reddens her ass via the flog and his gloved hand, making her cry and he stops for a check-in. She green lights him and he continues, deciding to stop for a minute as he dunks her head in the water. Some titty grabbing causes her to call for mercy (a safe word letting him know to back off on that and do something else). The Hitachi is brought out so she can orgasm with the caveat that her head is held underwater as she does. Round three has her bound on her back to an inclined table similar to a weight bench with the addition of a fuck machine poking through the bottom platform. While that might sound like a good Friday night to many women, Cadence knows it's not going to be all pleasure and no pain. She looks away from JP as he stands at a nearby workbench pulling some type of string off of a spool. That string gets placed on her body and held in place with a bucket full of clothespins as he tells a tale of a conversation he had in the past and other random things. Once "the zipper" is in place, she lies there, tears streaming down her face as the machine relentlessly goes in and out of her and JP keeps chattering away as he brings some candles over to the bench. Her body quivers with excitement as he drips candle wax over it, the Hitachi getting placed on her crotch as his other hand grips the string and yanks. Her body convulses as if all of her demons just got exorcised.

Final Thoughts: I Looooved this edition! It was put together so well, with Chloe starting things off in traditional Device Bondage fashion and Dani Daniels returning once again hoping to find herself in a new form of torture and Cadence Lux coming in at the tail end on a secret mission that only her and JP know about. (For those of you that skipped right to my final thoughts, there are spoilers above.) The more I watch of this series, the more it fascinates me. I'm in agreement with many of the recurring models in the dungeon, it seems to be less about the pain and more about the psychological journey. JP is a master at what he does and even though I'm familiar with a lot of his techniques and devices, he just never ceases to amaze me with his skill and precision of seemingly simple but often dangerous tasks.
