Extra's: The best extra for me was the audio commentary with director Michael Raven and Kaylani Lei (in her first Wicked movie since she signed with them). Others may know him for his direction of Riptide or other work for Sin City Entertainment, but he does a solid job at whatever he gets his hands on. The 7 minute long All Access: Behind the Scenes feature was also pretty cool but way too short. There was a Girls of Blue Rain (a photoshoot of the gals from the movie that lasted about 12.5 minutes), four minutes of bloopers, promotional reels, photogalleries, trailers to Sex On Film and four other titles, DVD-Rom material: including Company profile, Casino game, Awards Winners and nominees, desktop backgrounds, double sided DVD cover

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.78:1 non-anamorphic widescreen color, not the usual full frame the industry is known for. The picture had a lot of grain, mostly due to the night scenes used throughout the movie, and the video noise was problematic because of it too. I didn't see any compression artifacts when I watched it twice but this wasn't the best picture quality I've seen from Wicked Pictures (and it was about average for some of Mr. Raven's work at Sin City). The show itself was interesting enough that the picture quality wasn't the top priority but in future efforts, I hope he improves. The audio was presented with a choice of a 5.1 Dolby Digital surround English track or a 2.0 track (with the 5.1 track sounding better, even with the minimal separation it had) but sounded quite clear in most cases.

Body of Review: Those familiar with Wicked Pictures know the company focuses most of its efforts on feature porn (the kind with a plot and acting). Those familiar with industry veteran director Michael Raven know he is best when directing features. By putting the two together with new Wicked Pictures contract performer Kaylani Lei, one would imagine the results should be nothing less than great and fans of feature porn will be happy to know that the three elements listed above all combined to provide an entertaining, and sexually hot, movie, Blue Rain.

The title of the movie refers to Kaylani's character, a police internal affairs detective in a large metropolitan police department working a proactive case on a possibly corrupt cop played by Mr. Marcus. It's her job to uncover the truth, no matter what it takes or what sacrifices she needs to make, in order to maintain the public trust. What she finds along the way to her journey has a few twists and turns with some decent acting and solid sex scenes. If this sounds good to you, read the following scene breakdowns by cast and action:

Scene One: Domino, a Latino gal who really looked her part as a gangsta gal, gave Marcus a sweet looking blowjob at a desk. She used her hand a lot to increase the friction and lots of slobber to keep him erect. It ended with a good-sized load but no intercourse.

Scene Two: Harley, a redhead who plays a detective in the movie, jumped Eric on a couch. She looked a bit more butch than I'm used to seeing her but he had no problems when he went down on her. He didn't get to spend much time on her because she took her turn giving him head before she rode his lap a bit. I would've thought she'd take anal here but it was just straight sex before he rubbed out a load on her.

Scene Three: Vanessa, a small gal with a tight looking body, took care of Lexington, while Aveena watched. Lexington was huge compared to this gal but she deep throated him with little trouble. After getting ready for his massive penis, Vanessa was impaled on his dick (Raven's words in the commentary) and she rode him for all she was worth. I half expected the penis to come ripping out her back when she did cowgirl. In the end, he coated her face and mouth quite handily and the two gals swapped out the cum a bit.

Scene Four: Kaylani, the lead gal of the movie featured on the front DVD cover, and Harley, the more experienced of the two, had a scene in a locker room. Harley was the aggressor here during most of the scene, using her tongue and fingers a lot, until they got into a 69 position when they both were more equal. It ended a bit too soon for me but those of you who like lesbian scenes without toys, will appreciate this one a lot.

Scene Five: Simone, one of the world's best cocksuckers (per the director in the commentary track) was very young looking and fit as she went down on Valentino in the hotel room. In another part of the room, Olivia and Marcus went at it (I'll leave that for the next scene description though) but it seemed to turn on Valentino to watch them at the same time. She took her time and made it a long, slow erotic blowjob and that made it fun to watch. It ended with a facial and was well done.

Scene Six: Olivia, a major hotty with a great body, did Marcus in the hotel room on the bed while Simone blew Valentino. There was some oral but most of the scene had her playfully being hammered by "Lex the Impaler" while she screamed out loud and flirted with Valentino. He dropped his load on her abdomen before kissing her good night. What a gentleman!

Scene Seven: Kaylani, looking even better in this scene, started this one by making out with Marcus in a hallway before taking the act to a couch. She slobbed his knob a bit and he gave her a little bit of oral before she sat on his penis. She started to ride it with more speed as the scene went on but she never took him in balls deep like Vanessa or Olivia did. She's a small gal so I can understand why this was the case and he finished by blowing a load on her small chest. (she mentioned his size during the commentary but her sniffles started getting more frequent, I hope she got over her cold or allergies)

Summary: The women were usually attractive and youthful (with one exception) and the sex was well done with some great performances by all involved. The acting and script were also pretty good and that's why I'm rating this one as Recommended. The only thing I'd really have wanted better was the picture quality and maybe add a few extras to round out an already good DVD.
